Since your daughter is taking such good care of her doll, she probably doesn't even need to use baking soda or Magic Eraser. We wipe off the dolls' faces (and arms and legs if they're exposed) about once a week with a barely damp wash cloth. This keeps their faces clean and the dust away.
Someone mentioned Vinylex, but I would be careful with that. Years ago I was reading something about doll restoration that suggested using Armour-All to perk up vinyl dolls. I used it on my daughter's Bitty Baby and she is quite shiny, not matte. My daughter much prefers the matte look. For those of you who have used Magic Eraser, does this restore a matte finish to a shiny doll?

Hello. We have the cleaning kit. Do NOT waste your money on it! It is a VERY small container that has only one ingredient listed on its lable, 100% baking soda. In my opinion the Magic eraser does a much better job.
